The NCLEX Is Changing. Your Study Plan Needs to Change Too.
2026 NCLEX Changes Are Coming But You STILL Have Time to Pass Before They Arrive!
We’ll tell you what actually matters—and what doesn’t.
Short, practical updates from ReMar Review explaining what the NCLEX changes mean for your study plan, based on when you’re testing and where you’re at.
What’s Changing in NCLEX 2026?
What’s Changing in NCLEX 2026?
Stronger emphasis on: health equity, unbiased, culturally responsive care, and inclusive language. These concepts are embedded across content areas (not isolated to one category).
Test plans are officially updated based on the 2024 RN and PN Practice Analyses. Content reflects current entry-level nursing roles and responsibilities.
These remain heavily emphasized and high-yield areas: Pharmacological Therapies Safety and Prevention and Infection Control
Management of Care continues to be a major RN category. Reflects the RN’s higher level of responsibility, delegation, prioritization, and coordination of care.
Clinical judgment is explicitly integrated throughout the entire exam. NGN-style items and case-based clinical judgment questions remain a core feature, guided by the NCSBN Clinical Judgment Measurement Model. There is an increased normalization of multi-condition and multi-client case-based items to reflect real-world practice.
Ethical and legal principles are more clearly articulated and testable Focus on professional accountability, safety, and standards of practice, still integrated within existing categories (not a standalone category)
The Real Risk?
Studying Without a Clear Plan
Most nursing candidates don’t avoid studying—they’re overwhelmed and unsure what actually matters.
So they stay busy… but unfocused.
Then the test date gets close, and stress takes over.
That’s not a motivation problem.
It’s a guidance problem.
You don’t need to rush.
You don’t need to panic.
You need a study plan that matches how the NCLEX tests now.
YES, I WANT TO START EARLY—WITH A PLAN
Clarity over chaos. Always.
You Deserve Preparation That
Guides You — Not Guesswork
If you’re being honest, you’ve probably tried at least one of these:
With no clear order, strategy, or connection to how NCLEX actually tests
Lots of information, but no explanation of what matters—or why
More opinions, more noise, less confidence
Getting questions “right” or “wrong” without learning how to think through them
